November 4, 2018 through February 4, 2019 AND May 5 through June 30, 2019.
BAG LIMIT:
Coyotes: Unlimited. Fox: 5 per Season per Tag.
NUMBER OF PERMITS: 30.
PERMIT COST/Application Fee: $100.00/$5.00.
PERMIT AVAILABILITY:
Applications will be available July 25, 2018 at the Game & Fish office Whiteriver. Successful applicants will be notified via mail.
LEGAL TAKING DEVICE:
Any legal weapon described in section R1.C.
UNITS OPEN TO HUNTING:
November 4, 2018 through February 4, 2019; Units 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 7 ONLY. And May 5 through June 30, 2019; Units 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 12 ONLY.
SPECIAL REGULATION:
Predator permit applicants must be approved by the White Mountain Apache Game & Fish Department Law Enforcement Division. Predator permit holders may not be accompanied by non-Predator permit holders 17 years or older. Predator permit holders are prohibited from using any type of capturing, snaring or holding devices. Predator permit holders may only camp in designated campgrounds. The use of horses, snowmobiles and ATV’s is prohibited. Predator permit holders may hunt during daylight hours only. See section R2.C. Baiting of any type is prohibited, however the taking of predators over naturally occurring animal carcasses is allowed. Hunting methods are limited to the use of electronic and/or mouth calling devices and or/stalking. All permit holders are required to complete and return a harvest report form on or before July 12, 2019 to the Tribal Game & Fish Department.
PERSONS ENTERING THE RODEO/CHEDISKI BURN AREA FOR THE PURPOSE OF HUNTING DO SO AT THEIR OWN RISK. IT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED THAT PERSONS HUNTING THIS AREA UTILIZE THE HIGHEST POSSIBLE GROUND FOR INGRESS, EGRESS AND PARKING. DUE TO THE POTENTIAL FOR FLASH FLOODIONG, PERSONS ENTERING THIS AREA FOR THE PURPOSE OF HUNTIGN SHOULD CONSTANTLY BE AWARE OF CURRENT AND POTENTIAL WEATHER CONDITIONS AND PLAN THEIR TRAVEL ROUTES ACCORDINGLY. THE TRIBAL GAME & FISH DEPARTMENT AND THE WHITE MOUNTAIN APACHE TRIBE ASSUMES NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY PROPERTY LOSS, DAMAGE OR BODLIY HARM INCURRED IN THIS AREA.
PREDATOR HUNT
